Der als Untertitel beibehaltene fr\u00fchere Arbeitstitel \u201eImage et parole\u201c deutet bereits daraufhin, das der als selbstverst\u00e4ndlich hingenommene Zusammenhang von Bild und Sprache, der das audiovisuelle Medium Film charakterisiert, hier nicht mehr bedingungslos vorausgesetzt wird. Zur Disposition stehen die Wege der \u00dcbertragung und der wechselseitigen Durchdringung von Bild, Ton und Text. Allein der Titel des Films erscheint vor diesem Hintergrund besonders vielsagend, bezeichnet er doch eine transmediale Werkform, die zwischen geschriebenem Film und gefilmten Buch m\u00e4andert. Dabei greift Godard auf \u00dcberlegungen zur\u00fcck, die er bereits f\u00fcnfzig Jahre zuvor formuliert hatte.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"post__paragraph is-style-typo--soehne has-spacing--default\">Das Jahr 1968 markiert im Werk des Filmk\u00fcnstlers eine einschneidende Demarkationslinie. Die politisch sich ank\u00fcndigenden Umbr\u00fcche korrespondieren mit der Neujustierung seines Filmdenkens und der Suche nach einer alternativen Filmform. Noch bevor die Mai-Unruhen kulminierten, hatte Godard in seinem Film La Chinoise (1967) die Spannweite zwischen intellektuellem und gewaltt\u00e4tigem Widerstand anhand einer maoistischen Aktivistenzelle ausgelotet. Auch sein im darauffolgenden Jahr begonnener Film Le gai savoir (1969) gleicht einem Kammerspiel, das diesmal jedoch in eine ideologische Ausn\u00fcchterungszelle verlegt scheint. Beide Filme verhandeln, jeweils unterschiedlich, das Verh\u00e4ltnis von Bild und Sprache sowie \u00c4sthetik und Ideologie. W\u00e4hrend La Chinoise sich eher dem Wort als dem Bild verschreibt, das es nur richtig auszulegen g\u00e4lte, setzt Le gai savoir auf eine neu angelegte Alphabetisierung, in der Bild und Sprache in ein dialektisches Verh\u00e4ltnis zueinander treten. Der nietzscheanische Nihilismus, der letzterem seinen Namen verlieh, dient als Ausgangspunkt zur Konfiguration einer Filmform, die zum Instrument bild- und sprachkritischer Reflexion ger\u00e4t. Als Medium dieser wird fortan das Fernsehen auserkoren.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"post__paragraph is-style-typo--soehne has-spacing--m\">Nach einer Phase der Politisierung gr\u00fcndet Godard Anfang der siebziger Jahre zusammen mit Anne-Marie Mi\u00e9ville die Produktionsgesellschaft \u201eSonimage\u201c, die sich schon von ihrem Namen her dem Verh\u00e4ltnis von Ton und Bild verschreibt. In diesem Zusammenhang ist insbesondere die Episode Photo et Cie bemerkenswert, die Godard und Mi\u00e9ville im Rahmen ihrer f\u00fcr das Fernsehen produzierten Videoserie Six fois deux [sur et sous la communication] (1976) geschaffen haben. Diese versteht sich als eine Metareflexion auf Massenmedien wie Fernsehen und Presse, die ihrerseits hinsichtlich ihres Bild- und Sprachgebrauchs analysiert werden. Der Vortrag wird sich diesen verschiedenen historischen Stationen widmen und von dort aus jeweils neu das Verh\u00e4ltnis von Bild und Sprache beleuchten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n    <div class=\"btn-wrapper
