Tania Piliavska

Tania Piliavska is in the sixth semester of a journalism degree at a Ukrainian university in Kyiv and lives in Hannover, Germany. Because of the war in her home country, she attends her lectures online. She has loved writing since her school days as a way of sharing thoughts and stories with others – especially stories about people.

She is currently continuing her studies at Hochschule Hannover, where she is learning editorial design and typography and developing her storytelling. Although she is weighed down by homesickness for her family, who still live in Kyiv and cannot leave, she is learning German and feels more at home in society day by day.
