Cora Trinkaus

Cora Trinkaus trained as a media designer and worked in a permanent position before studying communication design at Hochschule Mainz. During her studies, her interest shifted increasingly from design to journalism. The wish to research stories herself, tell them visually and make social realities tangible led her to photojournalism.
Today she focuses on long-term documentary projects, portrait series and short documentaries. Her work deals with social upheaval, alternative ways of living, feminist perspectives and questions of community and belonging.
She lives and works in Hannover and Darmstadt.
