Greta Martensen writes about herself: ‘Photography has always been and will always be an important part of my life. It lets me feel and forget. I realised this at the age of 20. I was standing in the middle of a herd of mares with nothing but my camera in my hand. I concentrated on the here and now, shut out the problems dominating my life at that moment and refused to let them take over. My camera gives me the support that I otherwise only find in my dogs.’

She has been studying Visual Journalism and Documentary Photography in Hannover since 2021.
