Stefan Nieland

Stefan Nieland (born 1999) first trained as a foreign-language correspondent at the Dolmetscherschule Würzburg. Since 2021 he has been studying Visual Journalism and Documentary Photography and working as a freelance photographer. In his work so far he has explored the culture of remembrance and social realities in order to make personal and social narratives visible. In 2025 he did an internship as a staff photographer at the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
