Clara Schöttke (born 1999) was born and grew up in Greifswald. She completed her first bachelor’s degree, in communication design and fine art, in both Kiel (Germany) and Rennes (France). Afterwards, Schöttke decided to explore other ways of conveying content visually: since 2023, alongside her freelance work as a communication designer, she has been studying Visual Journalism at Hochschule Hannover for her second bachelor’s degree.
On the one hand, she is interested in poetic, sensitive and philosophical questions, approached through experimental visuals. On the other, she explores subjects such as migration and discrimination. It matters to Schöttke to understand perspectives that differ from her own.
