Laura Rößiger (born 2000) grew up in Radolfzell on Lake Constance and now studies Visual Journalism and Documentary Photography at Hochschule Hannover. Her work conveys calm and intimacy through painterly and graphic compositions. Alongside landscape and urban photography, portraiture plays a central role. Above all, the search for identity and the value of human freedom shape her work and give her photographs a social and philosophical dimension.
Laura developed her passion for photography as a child. After finishing school with a focus on education and psychology, she began studying at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Karlsruhe in 2021. To deepen her interest in photography, she moved to the HBK Essen art school in 2023 and finally to Hochschule Hannover, where she specialised in photojournalism and documentary photography.

Stories by Laura
Taking a break – out of sight.
In the back room, in the warehouse, on crates in the back yard: breaks are part of the working day – and often happen out of sight. Quiet, unremarkable, indispensable.
