Laura Schepers

Laura Schepers is a German photographer and videographer currently studying Visual Journalism and Documentary Photography at Hochschule Hannover.

Born in Hannover in 1999, she discovered the visual and performing arts early on, with photography and film becoming her main focus. As an intersectional feminist, she has already led the photography for several exhibited campaigns for equal rights for FLINTA* people. Her highly artistic, documentary work is also very much concerned with people’s inner lives – including her own.

Thanks to various collaborations with other performing artists, much of her work has been widely shown, particularly in the Hannover area, whether in the HAZ or in various exhibition spaces.

Laura places particular emphasis on an inclusive and diverse approach, so that everyone in front of the camera feels comfortable – something you can ultimately see in her pictures.
