Lena Wöhler, born in Herford in 1987, joined the photo desk of chrismon in July 2025 and has headed it since July 2026. On a project basis, she is also building up the photo desk of the Gemeinschaftswerk der Evangelischen Publizistik (GEP). From 2021 to 2025 she worked as a photo editor for DER SPIEGEL.

In 2024 she graduated in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography from Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts, where she is now studying for a master’s degree in Media and Design.
