Lorenz Varga, born in 1967, has taught at Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts since 2015 in the Technical Information Design and Technical Communication programme of Faculty I, covering subjects such as interviewing techniques and communication. He holds two degrees – in economics (Diplom) and in German studies and education (Magister) – and went on to work as a German teacher at a Gymnasium, among other things.
He has worked as a radio journalist in a wide range of roles since 2001: as a presenter, reporter, trainer and editor-in-chief. Since 2013 he has led the inclusive radio team ‘Handicap on Air’ at the Hannoversche Werkstätten as a media educator; the project received the inclusion award of SoVD Niedersachsen in 2016. He has also given introductions to plays at the Schauspielhaus Hannover for more than ten years.
