Stepping stone into the professional world. Welcome to 33 new students from seven countries.

Program Coordinator Marta Krajinovic welcoming freshmen to Hanover College's Design Center on Tuesday, September 21, 2022.

During  «freshman week,» new students traditionally get to know the Design Center of the Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts. On Tuesday, September 21, they introduced themselves to the study program  «Visual Journalism and Documentary Photography.» Asked about her wishes and expectations for the course, Noemi Ehrat (26) replied,  «I’m hoping for an in-depth exploration of photographic narrative strategies.» Her fellow student Etienne Dötsch (23) wants a  «stepping stone into the professional world,» and Henryc Fels (30) wants to «learn storytelling and produce joint projects.» The freshmen range in age from 19 to 37 and come from all parts of Germany and Austria, Switzerland, Iran, South Korea, Colombia, and Turkey.

We wish all freshmen a good start and look forward to working with them.
