Jux (Jule) Schlutter

Jux (Jule) Sophie Schlutter was born in 2002 and grew up in a small town in Lower Saxony. Since 2020 she has lived and worked in Hannover, where she attended the vocational college for design. Since 2022 Jux has been studying experimental design at Hochschule Hannover. As an artist, she works in particular with various printing techniques. Her second medium is photography, which since 2025 she has been studying in depth on the Visual Journalism & Documentary Photography programme alongside fine art.
In terms of content, she is always looking for stories about alternative ways of living and thinking – and about everything that works outside familiar structures.
Jux became a mother in 2021. Since then she has been looking for stories about parenthood beyond the familiar narratives and brings this into her photographic and artistic projects.
