China Hopson

Teaching area: Photo Project

China Hopson studied photojournalism & documentary photography at Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts from 2013 to 2019 and Photographic Studies at Fachhochschule Dortmund from 2020 to 2022. She works as a freelance photographer on socio-cultural topics and in portrait and editorial photography. In the 2024 summer semester she took on her first teaching assignment at Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts, in the bachelor’s programme Experimental Design.

China Hopson is a member of the Female Photoclub (leading its Hannover regional group) and of Women Photograph.
