Tim Kirchhof
Photographer: Markus Heft
Tim Kirchhof was born in Schleswig-Holstein in 1995. After finishing school in Neumünster, he first studied social work in Kiel and then worked as a sex educator and in open youth work. During his first degree he was already turning his photography into a profession, and in 2022 he began his second degree, in Visual Journalism and Documentary Photography, in Hannover.
At Hochschule Hannover, Tim wants to bring his background in social work into his photographic projects. His focus is therefore on finding and testing ways of telling stories about social issues. These go beyond journalistic reportage and are complemented by staged documentary work and artistic approaches.
